They have developed an array of products that stem from Indianess. Sure they are kitschy but they beat bringing home that marble elephant within an elephant which you bought at the Red Fort. At least Happily Unmarried products will spark up a conversation and your friends will not think that you have a fetish for ridiculous souvenirs. Why would an Elephant eat it's baby?
One of my favorites is the "Sandaas" which translates to poop after that spicy meal that you couldn't stomach. The design is based on what is known as the Indian toilet. You can look it up to see how it functions. It is an ash tray, get it?
This next product is one that I am the proud owner of. It is called the "Dil Ki Chabi". The translation is "Key to my heart". Of course we would be fascinated with this product due to our affection for Indian Trucks. The key rack is authentic in every detail except for the lack of dirt but I figure that wear and tear will make it vintage in no time.
So when in India and looking for some interesting presents for your peeps abroad, search for Happily Unmarried. Nobody wants to display the innards of a cannibalistic elephant on their office desk.
