The Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn, was an excellent event, apart from the crazy Saturday thunderstorms that only slightly dampened the spirits of most vendors. Most of the vendors were back on Sunday, and it showed that we were all adamant to flaunt our goods.
Unlike most NYC open market events there wasn't any crap at the Renegade Craft Fair. All of the crafty vendors had great stuff. One that caught my eye and wallet was www.bookjournals.com which takes old book covers and recycles them by adding sketch paper and a few leafs of the old book. Each reclaimed book is an original and makes an excellent conversation starter. Who doesn't need a journal or sketchbook in their lives?
